Two-Tone Gold Dragon Pendant With Jade Accent
This fully three-dimensional dragon pendant was built to capture traditional Chinese dragon imagery in wearable scale — extended horns, a curled serpentine body, and a spiked tail looped back on itself. The scales along the head, neck, and coils are set with round lab-created diamonds against white rhodium-plated gold, while the rest of the body is cast in warm 14k yellow gold, creating a two-tone contrast that highlights the dragon’s form. A small pale jade bead is held securely in the dragon’s mouth, pinned in place from beneath — a detail the client considered essential to the design. The pendant went through multiple rounds of sketch revision to get the silhouette, tail shape, and proportions right before moving to the 3D model. Sized for everyday wear at approximately 1.5 inches, it suits someone who wants a bold, symbolic piece with real dimensional presence rather than a flat emblem.
Grandmother’s Onyx Ring Recreated as Two Family Replicas
This ring recreates a family engagement ring that belonged to a client’s grandmother, rebuilt as two matching pieces from photographs and video rather than the physical original. An emerald-cut black onyx center stone sits in a white gold diamond-shaped frame with a single round diamond accent, flanked by ornate scrolling yellow gold shoulders on either side of the band. The design was refined during the render stage to bring the prong line flush against the stone and to shift the framing stone’s cut closer to the diamond-like shape seen in the original. Made in 14k yellow gold, the two rings were sized differently — one size 6 and one size 7 — so each recipient received a piece fitted to them individually. It suits someone looking to carry a piece of family history forward in a way that is wearable rather than kept in a box.
Recreated Amethyst Engagement Ring — Stolen Ring Rebuilt
This engagement ring recreates a stolen original as closely as possible from photographs alone — a round amethyst center stone flanked by two pear-shaped white sapphires, set in 14k yellow gold with white gold prongs cradling the amethyst. A subtle raised ridge runs along the shoulders near the side stones, echoing a detail from the original setting, and the inside of the band carries a personal engraved phrase. The design was built from the ground up rather than from a pre-made setting, matched to the client’s original ring size and a slim band profile that mirrors the delicate feel of the piece it replaces. It suits someone who values continuity — restoring a ring that had already been part of their life for a decade rather than reinventing it.
