Recreated Ruby & Diamond Heirloom Band in Gold
This 14k yellow gold band alternates five marquise-cut natural rubies with four round natural diamonds, set across the top portion of a slim polished band that stays smooth underneath. The marquise cut was chosen to match the elongated shape of the rubies in the original piece, worked out from photos and careful comparison of stone proportions. It sits low and close to the finger, making it easy to stack or wear on its own every day. The design suits anyone who wants to bring a family piece back into daily rotation without it feeling fragile or precious to the point of being set aside.
