Hexagonal Blue Diamond Ring Inspired by a Mother’s Heirloom
This engagement ring was designed to echo the look of a piece that belonged to the wearer’s mother, reimagined with a hexagonal step-cut center stone in a deep teal-blue hue. Round diamonds flank the center stone, while marquise-shaped clusters of small blue accent stones sit further along the band, framed with fine milgrain detail. Set in 14k white gold, the design balances the sentimental nod to the original piece with new stone choices selected for both color and durability. The result is a ring that carries forward a family connection while standing on its own as an original design.
Blue Topaz Tie Bar in White Gold — Stepped Design
This tie bar was built around a client-sourced pre-made bar rather than cast from scratch, chosen for its stepped profile and secure clip tension. A single round pale blue topaz sits at the center of a small cluster, flanked by six diamonds, positioned toward the front third of the bar as requested. The piece was originally planned as a ring but shifted mid-project to a tie bar after family feedback on the ring design, with the original deposit carried over to the new piece. The result is a compact, understated accessory suited to someone who prefers subtle jewelry over statement pieces.
Recreated Heirloom Ring — Woven Gold Band, Blue Topaz
This ring was recreated from photographs of a family heirloom that had been lost. Built in 14k yellow gold, it centers a round blue topaz held in a four-prong setting, flanked on both sides by a woven, crisscross gold pattern that tapers into a smooth polished shank toward the back of the band. The design keeps the visual weight at the top of the finger while thinning out where the ring meets the hand, echoing the shape the client remembered from the original piece. It suits someone who wants a design rebuilt faithfully from limited reference material rather than a fresh, unrelated design.
Turquoise & Blue Topaz Eternity Band in White Gold
This eternity band pairs two December birthstones — faceted blue topaz and cabochon-cut turquoise — set alternately all the way around a 14k white gold band. The continuous stone coverage makes it a natural stacking piece, sitting flush against other rings without an obvious front or back. Turquoise is a softer stone than most ring-set gems, so this design suits someone who wants the birthstone combination as a meaningful detail rather than a piece worn during heavy hands-on activity. The band width was kept slim at 2mm to keep the piece delicate and wearable alongside other rings.
