Castle Insignia Pendant — Silver Twin-Tower Design

This pendant recreates a castle emblem in dimensional sterling silver, built from reference photos of an engineering corps pin dating back to 1915. Twin flanking towers rise beside a central gatehouse with an arched doorway and stepped entry, and the window openings are cut all the way through rather than engraved, letting light pass through the structure. After reviewing two finish options, the design was finalized with smooth, highly polished surfaces rather than a textured one. The chain attaches directly to jump rings soldered at the top sides of the outer towers, so the piece hangs flat and sits upright rather than tipping forward. It suits anyone who wants a wearable piece of personal or organizational history rendered with real architectural detail rather than a flat emblem.

Optometry Graduation Pendant — Eye-Shaped Gold Keepsake

This pendant was built around the shape of an eye — an almond outline in polished gold plated silver, framed top and bottom with raised lettering naming a university optometry program and the new doctor it honors. At the center sits a small bell tower, flanked on either side by two instantly recognizable symbols of the profession: a miniature eye chart and a phoropter, the instrument used in every eye exam. The back carries a private inscription from family. The design went through several rounds of revision to fit this much detail into a piece just over an inch across, ultimately settling on an open eye-shaped silhouette rather than a circular frame so every element could read clearly at this scale. It suits someone marking a professional milestone with a piece that says exactly what the achievement was, not just that one occurred.
