This platinum cross pendant was rebuilt from photographs and appraisal notes describing an Edwardian original that measured 54mm tall and roughly 3.5 carats. Round lab-created diamonds fill the body of the cross, with five larger stones set at the center and the four points, and smaller diamonds set between them along the arms. The four tips carry a pointed, bezel-framed detail in place of a flat square edge, echoing the filigree the client remembered from the original. The design was thinned during production from an initial 3mm profile down to 2.5mm, and the gold backing shown in the first render was removed in favor of an all-platinum construction so the diamonds are visible from both the front and back. It suits someone recreating a specific heirloom from memory and old photos rather than starting from a blank design brief.
