This pendant reimagines a found reference image as a fully three-dimensional piece: a winged figure in flight, its wings finished in rich pink-red enamel with a fine leaf-vein pattern, and a single round diamond bezel-set where the wingtip meets the figure’s outstretched arm. The figure and wing structure are cast in 14k yellow gold, giving the piece weight and warmth against the color of the enamel. Three sketch concepts were developed before the design was finalized, and the enamel color was adjusted from the original blue-green reference to a soft pink at the client’s request. It hangs from a delicate 2mm cable chain sized to sit at a personal length. The piece suits someone drawn to Art Deco figurative jewelry who wanted a specific image brought into physical form rather than a standard catalog design.
