This 14k yellow gold pendant necklace was rebuilt from faded photographs and a hand-drawn sketch of a piece that had disappeared from the family years ago. Three flat, irregularly shaped freshwater pearls hang with small gold caps beneath a single muted blue-green stone set into a softly curled gold frame. The chain carries small pearls spaced along its length, echoing the pendant’s materials in miniature. The finish was kept brushed and understated rather than high-polish, reflecting the worn, softened look of the original piece after decades of wear. Every element – the pearl shapes, the stone color, the curl of the frame – was refined repeatedly against the client’s memory and photos until it matched. The result suits anyone who wants a quiet, detail-driven recreation rather than a bold statement piece.
