Black & Red Enamel Chain-Link Wedding Band in Gold
This wedding band pairs 14k yellow gold with black and red hot enamel to create a bold, graphic look. A chain-like pattern of elongated gold ovals and one hexagonal link runs around the full circumference, raised above a recessed black enamel background and framed by twin red enamel stripes near each edge. The design went through several rounds of refinement to balance a specific visual reference against real casting and plating constraints, landing on a version where the gold pattern and red enamel sit flush at the same height while the black enamel recesses slightly beneath. Black rhodium plating was added to part of the outer edge for additional contrast. Built at a 6mm width for a substantial but wearable everyday band, this design suits someone who wants a wedding ring with real graphic personality rather than a traditional plain band.
Chunky Gold Signet Ring — Upgraded From a Keepsake Original
This chunky, rectangular-top ring was remade in solid 14k yellow gold from a plastic original the client already owned and loved the look of. The flat top surface is divided by diagonal chevron grooves, with a row of five small raised gold beads running along one of the diagonal lines for texture and visual interest. The polished finish gives the piece a substantial, sculptural presence on the hand while keeping the design clean and geometric. It suits someone who wants a bold, tactile ring that reads as jewelry rather than a favor or novelty piece, sized and cast to the wearer’s exact finger.
