Marissa Pearl – American Artist and Jeweler

The Jewelrythis team is growing! Today, we are pleased to welcome Marissa Pearl, our new Jewelrythis community manager.

Marissa’s background in fine arts and the underground art world has allowed her to bridge the gap between mainstream art and the subversive in her designs. She studied photography and art history at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has participated in and curated art shows outside of her academic environment, immersing herself in Chicago’s rich urban culture.

In 2013, Marissa founded Wildstyle Jewelry in San Diego, California and went on to found a 3D consultancy that offers full-service jewelry manufacturing. In addition to studying diamond grading at PGSL in Chicago, Marissa has worked with several gem mine owners to source her stones directly. Recently, she studied with master jeweler Dari in Firenze before continuing to explore other European jewelry practices such as glyptics in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.

She is actively involved in the jewelry industry’s many trade shows while staying on the cutting edge of technology and keeping her clients happy. When she is home and creating original jewelry in San Diego, she loves spending time with her animals.

Marissa believes that Jewelrythis fills a very important niche in the jewelry industry, one that empowers jewelers to improve their workflow and even each other’s designs because it allows them to edit existing 3dm models to a client’s unique specifications. She will be giving individual feedback and implementing high quality control standards on each design.

Welcome to Jewelrythis Marissa!
