Monogram Drop Earrings — Initials Reborn in Silver
These drop earrings turn a teenager’s own sketch into a wearable monogram. Each circular disc is cut through with three overlapping letters forming an interlocking initial design, suspended from a small round turquoise cabochon set in a simple bezel stud. The discs are polished sterling silver with an open, airy silhouette despite the dense letterwork at the center. The design went through two rounds of revision — moving from an oval outline to a full circle, and a later correction to mirror the monogram so both earrings read the same way when worn. It suits someone who wants a personal design turned into fine jewelry without losing the handmade character of the original drawing.
Matched Diamond Hoop Earring — Replacing a Lost Pair
This 18k yellow gold huggie hoop was made to replace one half of a sentimental pair of earrings — an anniversary gift that had been worn as a matched set until one earring went missing. The replacement was built by scanning and measuring the surviving original, matching the round diamond melee for cut, color, and clarity, and matching the oval hoop profile stone for stone around the inside-out setting. Eleven round diamonds, each about 2.9mm, are set continuously around the hoop’s outer face, visible from both the inside and outside of the hoop when worn. The one deliberate difference from the original is the clasp: a patented security latch on the original earring could not be legally reproduced, so the replacement closes with a standard snap hinge instead. The result restores the pair to full wearable use, matched closely enough that the two earrings read as a single set.
