Tree of Life Pendant with Hidden Bear Head Back
This pure silver pendant combines two design languages on a single oval form. The front is an openwork Tree of Life rendered in Celtic knotwork — swirling roots, a woven canopy, and spiral details drawn from a reference the client provided. The back, added later in the design process, carries a bear’s head in profile framed by a Celtic knot border, a tribute to a detail from the client’s grandfather. The pendant is cast in pure (fine) silver with a sandblasted matte background on both sides to bring the linework forward, and hangs from a 22-inch leather cord. It suits anyone drawn to symbolic, nature-rooted design with a personal story worked into a surface most people will never see unless they look.
