Unique Tribute to Literary Love

Oliver, captivated by his girlfriend’s deep love for Kurt Vonnegut’s “Sirens of Titan,” embarked on a quest to find Vonnegut-inspired jewelry, only to come up empty-handed. Turning to JewelryThis for collaboration, he endeavored to transform his vision into a unique pendant, with the intention of presenting her with a one-of-a-kind gift for Valentine’s Day.

Here’s how it all unfolded:

Oliver embarked on a collaborative journey with us, guided by his personal master designer, Luce. She helped transform his idea into a tangible piece of wearable jewelry. Through detailed discussions and creative brainstorming, she honed in on the design concept, ensuring that every element reflected the essence of the “Sirens on Titan” cover image so that the piece would capture his girlfriend’s literary passion perfectly.

The first step was to take the cover inspiration image and join the elements together to form one pendant, as Oliver wished for one pendant in a cut-out design. We explored how it would all fit together and how to contain the enamel detail that spilled out below the eye.

Once the idea was conceptualized and agreed upon, it was time for our team to create a technical sketch. Not only is this the start of turning an idea into jewelry, but it also becomes the blueprint for creating the 3D digital model.

From the 3D digital model, we can create this beautiful photo-realistic image below. This shows Oliver what his piece will look like once complete and lets the excitement continue to build.

The last step in the design stage is choosing the perfect pop of enamel color. Oliver chose a striking forest green.

Our team of skilled designers, modelers, and master goldsmiths worked in harmony to breathe life into Oliver’s vision. Infused with intricate detailing and adorned with bold green enamel inlay, the pendant emerged to bring the vision to life. A stunning 1.5-inch gold-plated silver pendant, adorned with bold green enamel inlay in the eyes, reminiscent of the captivating allure of “Sirens on Titan” cover image. This custom necklace served as a symbol of our client’s love and appreciation for his girlfriend and her passions.Delivered just in time for Valentine’s Day, it was a shining testament to the power of personalized craftsmanship and a heartfelt sentiment.
