Life’s trials often illuminate the true treasures that reside in our hearts, and for David, a life-altering motorcycle accident did just that. As he embarked on a journey of recovery, the importance of family shone brighter than ever.
In the aftermath of his accident, David realized that he would require a cane for his mobility. This change in his life’s trajectory prompted a beautiful idea: to craft a custom cane that would not only assist him but also reflect his personality and family’s significance. And so, the concept of a family tree pendant set with birthstones for his wife was born.

The jewelry journey
The family tree, a timeless emblem of growth and connection, held a special place in both David’s and his wife Demi’s hearts. He envisioned a Celtic tree of life pendant, with the tree’s trunk adorned with his and his wife Demi’s birthstones—a constant reminder of their shared journey. The branches, adorned with fourteen birthstones of their children, grandchildren, and foster child, represented the expanding branches of their family tree.
Partnering with our skilled master jeweler, David embarked on the process of turning his vision into a reality. The pendant’s design was meticulously sketched, with each detail carefully considered to weave in the symbolism of family connections. The roots, curling back into branches, depicted the unwavering support of parents, while the intertwining branches represented the strength of sibling and cousin relationships.

After waiting five to six years to reach out to us and start this project it was wonderful to see David’s vision evolve into a breathtaking pendant—an exquisite masterpiece with deep sentimental value. Demi, sharing David’s admiration for the family tree design and the significance it held, became the recipient of this heartwarming gift. The pendant and cane now a part of their everyday lives, serves as a constant reminder of the enduring love and unity that binds their family together.
