How We Transformed Family Jewelry Into a Modern Custom Pendant

When Rachel reached out to us, she wasn’t simply looking to redesign jewelry—she was looking to preserve a story and carry it forward. She sent us photos of a few cherished pieces that once belonged to her husband’s mother, Ruth. Designing with Heart
Rachel partnered with her master designer, Holly, to help to bring her vision to reality. Together, they explored the original jewelry pieces, which included three deep blue sapphire oval stones understated yet powerful.
Those stones became the heart of the new design: a silver, gold-plated cross pendant that felt strong, clean, and quietly emotional. Holly began sketching, layering Rachel’s ideas with design expertise, ensuring the final piece would carry both story and style.

The Vision Becomes Reality: 3D Render
Once the sketch was refined and approved, we moved into the next exciting phase: A 3D render of the final piece. This step allows our clients to see their idea come to life before a single stone is set. The design was a textured silver cross, gold-plated for warmth, with the three sapphires stones seamlessly set into the vertical axis—simple, masculine, and powerful in its symbolism.
